<br />All the high growth is in tech!  eBay businesses can make you decent cash, but it&#8217;s difficult to grow to over $100,000 a year within your first year.  </p>
<p>Think in terms of website businesses that can scale &#8211; look at myspace and youtube for example.</p>

I will of course still work but I&#8217;m a student and a server so my income doesn&#8217;t amount to much. Suggestions?<br />
<br />1/3, 1/3, and 1/3.</p>
<p>Take 1/3 and put it as a downpayment on realestate where you will live, and also rent out rooms to roomates.  This gives you tax advantages, income, and if you care for the home, will increase the value of your investment.</p>
<p>Take 1/3 and put it into T-Bills.  These are Federal Bonds that have a guaranteed income.  These give you stable assets, and a predictable credit income.</p>
<p>Because you are young, take 1/3 and invest it with a CFA &#8211; and make sure of the Certified Financial Planner before you agree to his/her direction.  Invest that 1/3 also in thirds.  Put 1/3 in the stock market straight out.  Take 1/3 and put it into a mutual fund.  Take the final 1/3 and put it into a high-yeild market fund, like the S&amp;P or NYSE.  As the market is at a near-historic low vs. the economy, it is a good time to invest in the market itself, then walk away for five years more of turmoil.</p>
<p>Once you speak to a CFA &#8211; who can prove his/her certification and has at least 3 nonrelative clients that can provide a recommendation of good service for over ten years, the CFA will tell you the same thing.  You are basically building a financial foundation that will grow.</p>

My name is Matthew M, I&#8217;m 32 year old and I live in South West Florida.  I&#8217;m a hard worker and was always successful. I had to succeed in order to care for my mentally challenged Mother. My Mother&#8217;s diagnosis is Bi-Polar Paranoid Schizophrenia.  Over the past 2 years I have had her in and out of rehab-hospitals that has drained my saving and prevented me from saving any money at all.  The cost of a standard 30 day stay here in Florida is just about $20,000.  That covers the hospital and Medications, the Doctor is $1250. A WK.  Up untill last Nov my Uncle helped me with the costs.  He past away 3 days before thanksgiving.  In April I got laid off due to the Realestate market dive.  I have been looking work, but with lenders closing doors there is no work.  I&#8217;m working at 2 Circle-K gas stations just to cover the electric and Moms Med&#8217;s.  My house is for sale and I havent paid the Mortgage.  Please GOD ANY HELP that can be given I NEED IT. ANY HELP PLEASE.<br />
In response. I&#8217;m tring to get her medicare part B, she does not qualify for part A, She is only 52 years old and was finanically supported.  Owning her own home that I keeped up for her.  Her home is for sale also and I also havent paid the mortgage.  Im trying to rent it, but the rental market is just as slow as the selling market </p>
<p>However, support by family and myself are no longer their.  She may qualifly for part A next year because of my decline in income. Florida does not cover RX&#8217;s. there some discount programs that I have tried but not for the Med&#8217;s she has to take.<br />
<br />Put your mother on Medicare.  She can probably go on disability or get standard Medicare coverage.  You can most likely be named as her guardian and will be given custody of all her affairs.  Medicare will pay for her hospital stays and medications.  You can probably be given financial aid by the state if she stays in your care full time.  I&#8217;m not sure about FL medical care stuff.  I&#8217;m just telling you what I know based on California medical care.  Medicare is federal coverage though.  Good Luck.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>me my bf and my best friend rented a house together, all of us were on the lease. after about a month my friend moved back home. we told her we would find a replacement for her asap and that she would have to pay rent until then, she agreed to this. meanwhile we could NOT find anyone to move in no matter what we did. anyway about six weeks since she moved bacl i saw her when she told me she had stopped paying rent 3 weeks earlier. i was like what? she reckons she messaged my bf (which he never received by the way) saying we had &quot;four weeks notice&quot; to find someone and she would stop paying rent after that. she cant do that can she?? we called the real estate and they said they had to have the money by the following day so stupidly we paid it. is there anything we can do to get her money? me and my bf have since moved out of that house but are still paying rent for it until the realestate can get new tenants so me and my bf have been covering her share. what are our options?<br />
and i dont care what chasing up our money could potentially do to our friendship because we are no longer very good friends. cheers<br />
<br />First, write a letter to your landlord stating that you do not consent to your &quot;best friend&quot; being removed from the lease.  She is a party to the original agreement and cannot arbitrarily decide to remove herself from the agreement without the other parties agreeing.  You made a good faith effort to re-rent the unit, she should make an effort to find her own replacement or at least offer some other settlement.</p>
<p>The three of you are obligated to pay the rent to the landlord.  However, the landlord does not care how the rent is divided and in many rental agreements each resident is individually responsible for the entire agreement.  So you and your boyfriend were correct to pay the rent.  If you had not fully paid, the landlord would have eventually evicted all of you regardless of who did or did not pay. </p>
<p>The landlord is not going to resolve your internal resident problem.  You and your boyfriend need to pay the rent and take action to collect from your former &quot;best friend&quot;.  Send her a collection letter via Certified Mail and file a claim against her in small claims.  A small claims judge will likely find in favor of you sense you have a signed lease with her.</p>
